The tour starts with a trip to the local supermarket to buy food.
One attraction is to see the unique local ingredients and products found in local supermarkets. If you find Japanese ingredients you have never seen before, ask questions.
The participants purchase the ingredients that are in season at that time and cook three different dishes including “Shiso Rolls with Eggplant and Miso,” a dish commonly eaten locally.
After cooking, you will sit around the table with the instructor. In addition to Japanese, Chinese and simple English are available.
